Had very peaceful stay for Holiday and the weather was warm sunny. I loved the room with a comfortable bed, the bed was comfortable. The location was handy - right by a delightful pub, which serves extensive range of food, sightseeing, and restaurant. Besides, it was 2 miles away from Thunderfield Castle.

The bed in the Double V room reminded me of a cloud. Local pub suggestions for dining turned out tasty and affordable, with the food hitting the spot.
Heating didn't kick in when needed during the evening, only warming up in the early morning hours. A corner of the bathroom carpet was soaking wet, leading to an unexpected wake-up call for bare feet. Walking back from the pub in pitch dark was tricky, with no street lighting and muddy paths, so don't forget a flashlight.

The room was clean and modern, and we really appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee. It was close to Effingham Park Golf Course, which we enjoyed during the day. The vibe was cozy, and the location was quiet. We even received a warm welcome and helpful tips for our local dinner at the Parson's Pig pub.
The only downside was that the shower room felt a bit cramped on the first floor, but it was manageable.

The comfortable bed and beautiful clean decor. I particularly enjoyed meeting other guests in the lounge/dining area, and the complimentary tea and biscuits were a lovely touch. The garden space came in handy, and the efficient free wifi. The host was helpful, even providing a discounted trip to Gatwick, which eased my travel worries. The nearby Parson's Pig pub offered a fantastic selection of delicious food, especially the Indian cuisine.
The stairs to the second floor are quite steep, which may pose a challenge for some guests.
